How we breathe matters!

We take over 20,000 breaths a day on average.

Breathing is the most vital thing that we do and is our greatest resource.

Now more than ever it’s important to have tools to counter the stressors we’re experiencing in these challenging times.

But what is healthy breathing?

Healthy breathing increases the body’s natural capacity for healing and is one of the most effective ways to build resiliency, reduce stress and support the body’s natural resistance to infection.

In this workshop we will:

  • Examine the physiology of breathing– how it works and how it impacts our energy, our immune system and nervous system.
  • Practice gentle movement to help the breath move more freely in the body.
  • Explore ways to breathe more efficiently.
  • Learn simple techniques to increase our defense to airborne viruses.
