Melissa offers yoga therapy sessions in person in West Toronto at Liberty Movement and Wellness, 70 Geary, and online via Zoom.
- Private Session Fees: $140/hour
- Introductory Package for New Clients: $395 for 3 Sessions: Initial Consultation (90 minutes) + two 1 hour follow-up sessions. All 3 sessions must be used within 6 months.

What Is Yoga Therapy?
Yoga therapy is a personalized, holistic approach to healing.
Rooted in the Viniyoga tradition and the timeless wisdom of Patanjali and Ayurveda, yoga therapy draws on the full toolkit of yoga: gentle movement, breathwork, meditation, sound, visualization, and lifestyle guidance. These tools are woven together to support you at every level — physical, mental, and emotional — because true healing addresses the whole person, not just the symptom.
Each session is tailored specifically to you — your body, your health history, your energy, and your goals. Whether you’re managing a chronic condition, recovering from injury, navigating stress or anxiety, or simply feeling like something is off, yoga therapy meets you exactly where you are. Sessions are conducted one-on-one or in small therapeutic groups.
Yoga therapy is also designed to complement, not replace, the other care you’re already receiving. Whether you’re working with a doctor, physiotherapist, psychotherapist, or another health practitioner, yoga therapy integrates seamlessly alongside your existing treatment — supporting your healing from the inside out.
Yoga therapy works with your body’s own wisdom to heal. You are an active participant in the process. In addition to our work together during each session, you will be encouraged to do short practices on your own — practices designed to fit into real life. Over time, these practices become yours: cultivating strength, resilience, and healing. They form a toolkit you’ll carry with you long after our work together is done.
The goal is simple: to reduce suffering and help you feel more like yourself.
This is the one thing I do for me.
I noticed after our session that it was so much easier to get in and out of the car.
I remember back when we started working together, I couldn’t do that movement. And now, I don’t even have to think about it.
I used to feel a low level of anxiety all of the time – and when changes came up at work, I would feel really stressed. But now, when those same things come up at work, I’m fine. Busy yes, but I don’t feel anxious about them.
I loved Melissa’s class. I could do the postures – they were challenging without being impossible.
